Adriana Lorena Abril Ortiz

Adriana is an Ecuadorian human rights lawyer interested in research on sustainable development, business, and environmental rights. Currently, she is a second-year student in the MSc in Sustainable Development (space and society track) taught by the KU Leuven (Belgium). She holds an MA in Human Rights from the University of Gothenburg (Sweden). In both cases, she has been a beneficiary of full scholarships from the Belgian cooperation and the European Commission. Before moving to Europe, she graduated with honors from law and a bachelor´s degree in gender and development at the University of Cuenca-Ecuador.
