Angela van der Berg

Angela is the Director of the Global Environmental Law Centre (GELC) University of the Western Cape (UWC), South Africa and is also an Associate Professor in Public Law and Jurisprudence at UWC. Angela's research focuses on the intersections between climate change, environmental law, constitutional law and public governance. Angela teaches in areas of advanced public law including, international environmental law, South African environmental law, and climate change law and governance. She is widely published on matters of environmental conservation and natural resource use, public governance, urban planning, and climate change and how these issues should inform law and policy approaches.
