EPA Scientists’ Research Subject to Review Before Publication

On January 25, 2017, Doug Erickson, the head of communications for the Trump transition team for the¬†Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), told reporters that agency scientists would likely be required to have their research reviewed on a “case by case” basis before it is published. According to Erickson, the transition team will “take a look at what’s happening so that the voice coming from the EPA is one that’s going to reflect the new administration.”
